       3/23/17 Old Entry

hi there, late entry! so, on 8th March that day, we celebrated lil' Iman's 4th year burthday in his playschool at Permata. lil' Iman was super happy when mommy and daddy and lil' Amin came and brought his birthday cake. you can see his face smiling with BIG grin from ear to ear.

but, lil' Iman's actual birth-date is 4th March. and it was Saturday. and we have wedding to attend. since we decided to celebrate lil' Iman in his school, so we plan nothing to celebrate his birthday on the exact birth-date.

      happy birthday lil' Iman!

that morning, after breakfast, we prepared ourselves to go to Weston, it's about 1 hour driving from Membakut to attend daughter of mr.Husband's classmate wedding. and I'm like "WHAT?! your classmate punya anak kawin? so how old is your classmate?" muehehe ....

ok, classmate dia kawin awal. so anak dah bujang trang tang tang ... kitorang juga anak still setahun jagung :) ...

      let's take photo together
ish! why la so hard to get nice pix for four of us?

after the wedding, our planned was like just going back home. but half way, things were changing.

"how about buying him cake and celebrate just the four of us?" I asked mr.Husband. the kids were tired and they were sleeping.

"let's buy cake in Beaufort, half kilos will be fine" said mr.Husband.

we reached Beaufort, and the kids still sleeping. I bought a a small cake and few buns, and managed to grab a new school bag for lil' Iman and few pair of new short pants for him.

"so, where to go now?" I asked

the kids woke up and realized there was a box of cake inside the car, and they start asking for the cake! oh kids, please wait. and lil' Iman keep asking "birthday siapa ni, birthday siapa ni?" .... cake is very synonym with birthday la kan ... ugh.

      here we go! Pantai Pimping.

      everyone, smile!
      lil' Iman was so happy
      singing his birthday song
and lil' Amin a bit exhausted

earlier on, daddy unboxing the cake
      this is the cake
      vanilla sponge cake
lil' Iman asked if he can put candle on his cake
can I put candle? asked Iman
we just let him do it
here you go candle, but the wind blows so strong
so we didn't lighten the candle

and together we sung the happy birthday song
except lil' Amin who was still exhausted
as usual, before went out, packed the kids drinks + snacks
p/s: since we went for a wedding, so no bento box made :)
and sempat buat pisnag goreng untuk santapan dalam perjalanan

      mr.Husband and yours truly
      this is our
      PARTY OF FOUR
for lil' Iman's 4th year birthday
      the cake leftover
      brought back home.

so earlier on, we were attending the wedding ceremony of daughter of mr.Husband's classmate in secondary school. I tell you, his friend just the same age like him, but all his children bujang bujang woooo ....

      ketibaan pengantin lelaki
      so pink T_T
everything was simple but the food was super delicious
lil' Iman asked me to top up twice his plate!
didn't take many photos at the wedding place, just two three snaps. anyway, we have so much fun enjoying ourselves on that day.

      cheers.

       3/11/17 Old Entry

      hi there,

      what a late entry!

I guess many of you know that lil' Iman started schooling just recently. I managed to get him enrolled in Permata Playschool after a month of waiting. the teacher called and asked me to come on 1st March to fill up few forms and explained the what is all about Permata Playschool .

the next day, on 2nd March, it was Thursday, we sent lil' Iman to school for the very 1st time. the night before, we told lil' Iman that he will go to school since he is a 'big boy' now, and every 'big boy' must go to school to study.

lil' Iman got us so many questions about school.

      mommy, where is my school?
mommy, why must Iman go to school? *explained to him many many times, but keep asking the same question! what a kid*
mommy, will I have many friends in school?
mommy, do I have teacher in school?
mommy, how about potty potty? *concern so much about toilet, in case he has to do his business*
mommy, is the potty potty in school same like our potty potty? *pointing to our toilet bowl*
mommy, can I eat in school?
      mommy, who will feed Iman?
      mommy ...
      mommy ...
      mommy ...

and the questions flowing like a river!

      the very 1st day

the very 1st time lil' Iman entered the classroom.
queued for lil' Iman to meet and greet his teacher.
he showed no fear *a good sign to me*

the classroom is clean and neat.
saw few crafts and arts work done by the kids hung on the wall.

the kids' water bottles are neatly arranged on the shelves and the teacher showed lil' Iman to put his bottle on the shelf and later, when he feels thirsty, he can get his bottle.

and yes, I handover lil' Iman's toiletries to his teacher.

This playschool is not only a playschool, but also a nursery, where the teacher will feed and bath all the kids, and for kids who still need to drink milk, the teacher will train the kids to use drinking cup instead of milk bottle.

the school hours is from 8.30 am till 5.30 pm , and open 5 days a week (exclude Sat & Sun and PH) for the whole year, and accept kids age between 2 to 4 years old, but with a quota.

we let lil' Iman to carry his own bag

and he was so happy coming to the school

and he is a bot curious about what's inside his bag
"Iman, there is no drinks or biscuit inside except you water bottle ya"

      - check this to see what is inside Iman;s bag-

and yes, bring the blanket and the pillow too!

      Iman, are you ok?

so, each morning, the teacher said when we parents sending our kids to the school, we need to sign the kids attendance, and the teacher will take the temperature of the kid, and recorded it in the daily log book.

and if the kids suspected having a fever / flu, the kids need to be sent home to avoid other kids get infected too. hurm, prevention is better than cure, right?

the 3rd Day, and it was Monday

it was Monday, and it was lil' Iman 3rd day schooling. and a night before, he kept saying "mommy, Iman tidak mau sekolah" .... grrrr ......

so when morning came, he still chanting his mantera "mommy, Iman tidak mau sekolah" . I bathed him and asked to eat his breakfast and sent him to school ...

      - and it was huru-hara di pagi Isnin! -

lil' Iman requested me to tour the town before sending him to school. what a request! so I fulfilled his request, and bought kuih keria for him, and he was so happy to have the kuih keria. and because of that kuih keria, he walked to his school (from the main gate) with a smile, but heavy heart. LOL.

      Happy International Women's Day

it was Wednesday, and the teacher asked me to put lil' Iman in red clothes since every Wednesday, the kids will wear their uniform (only wear uniform on Wednesday) and the uniform is red in color.

however, lil' Iman still has no uniform yet, so I put his whatever red clothes he has in his closet. see his face, so happy kan ....but wait till he reached his school!

on the 5th day, I asked mr.Husband to send him to school (and of course lil' Amin and I tagged along, and we were waiting inside the car) .... a day before, Iman cried out loud in front of that door, and the teacher have to dragged him inside. I just let the teacher carried him inside, and I went away. let the teacher do their work, and I put my trust to Allah that the teachers are doing their job righteously.

and on his 5th day schooling, once again just like a day before, he refused to go inside ... but mr.Husband managed to bring him inside (ok, the kids respect their dad more than me), so that's it.

and later, we came and celebrate his 4th year birthday! yeay.

the day we celebrated his birthday in school, Iman has fever that night, and we didn't send him to school on Thursday and Friday ... 2 hari cuti + 2 hari weekend ! 4 hari cuti oorrrrr

      another drama on Monday?
      ahhh! I hope not.

       3/10/17 Old Entry

hi there, our 1st son, Iman Rafael turned 4 years old last Saturday, 4/3/17. time sure flies. since Iman is schooling now, so mr.Husband and I decided to celebrate his birthday in his playschool because we want him to have memory celebrating his birthday with his friends and his teachers, at least once, muehehe.

as of today, at 9.30am in his school, we celebrated a small birthday party together with his 4 teachers, and his 16 other friends. we booked a cake two day early from my sister-in-law. at first we decided to have red velvet cake (yes, because mommy really wanna eat red velvet), but since the red velvet flour was out-of-stock, mr.Husband and I agreed to have banana cake.

before the party started, we took the cake at my sister-in-law's cake shop (just in case you all Membakut people wanna know which bakery, it's the SJ Cake Shop, located at1st Floor above the 100 percent shop at MJ) ...

so, here's the cake. it's a very yummylicious banana cake, topped with fresh fruit and covered with fresh cream ...

we came 10 minutes early, so while waiting the kids finished their activities, I arranged the cake on the kids dining table. it includes the goodies pack for each kids, and I separated the teachers' drinks and buns in another tray, so that the teacher can enjoy their food later.

      what's inside the goodies pack?

each goodies pack consists of a pack of 200ml milo, one bar cloud 9 wafer chocolate, two fruit jelly, one medium size of buttermilk bun, and two party whistles.

the kids sing the birthday song in both malay and english version. oh! the kids were so cheerful, and they all are so lovely. they were very patient waiting to get the cake.

so after they sing the birthday song, I asked the teacher to slice the cake and give to all the kids.

while waiting for the cake to be served, I asked Iman to give each of his friend the goodies pack. so Iman went from one friend to one friend distributing his birthday goodies pack.

and each time his friend received the goodies pack, the teacher asked them to say terima kasih. they were so polite, and sooooo cute * ok, I love kids sooo much*

and the kids started blowing the party whistle, and the classroom became a bit noisy ... ah! they are just kids ... they looked so cute in my eyes playing with the whistle ... and the teacher have to put their goodies pack aside to serve the cake.

yeah, cake is served. everyone was enjoying the cake.

and I put lil' Amin to sit together with the other kids, and lucky lil' Amin sit quietly without any hesitation, and he too, enjoying his cake.

and Iman refilled the cake three times! woohaa! some other kids asked for refill as well.

and before mommy daddy and lil' Amin left the school, we took Iman's photos with each of his teacher for a sweet remembrance

so, that's all for lil' Iman's 4 years old birthday party, and this is the very 1st time we celebrating his birthday ever since he was born. last year November, we celebrated our kids birthday party, but it was lil' Amin's 2nd year birthday to be exact and we just joint celebrated it with lil' Iman 3rd year old birthday. so this one is lil' Iman's real birthday party.

it was just a small and simple birthday party, but what important is that the memory we created for our kids, so one day when they grow up, we hope they could remember all the sweetest things in their early years.

thanks teachers, thanks kids, thanks to all staffs ...
and thanks sister-in-law for making the yummy cake and buns ...
      love you all.

and doakan yang baik baik for our lil' Iman too.

to lil' Iman, grow up healthy and be a good wise taqwa man.

       3/2/17 Old Entry

      hi there,

early this year, mr.Husband and I decided to send lil' Iman to a playschool after thinking and taking into account the pros and cons sending our kids to a playschool at the age of 4. oh yes! lil' Iman will celebrate his birthday this Saturday :)) *syukur alhamdulillah, he is a grown up boy now* ....

since we are living in Membakut, and the only playschool cum nursery plus with a good environment (after seeking informations) , we only have one choice, the one and only playschool option that we have, is Pusat Anak Permata, or what we here call just PERMATA .... anyone heard about this playschool?

so, somewhere end of January, we went there and asked if there is any intake or vacant spot for lil' Iman to join the playschool, and the teacher in PERMATA said to register the kids here, we need to apply by filling the school form, and if we are selected, they will call us to inform.

we filled up everything as requested in the application form (hey, nowadays mau masuk playschool pun quite strict oooo),  and send the form early February and put HIGH hope lil' Iman will be selected. waiting weeks after weeks, we received a GOOD NEWS last week that lil' Iman could start his first day today! yeah! a happy mom with TEARY EYES and SWOLLEN HEART *sending lil' Iman for the 1st time to PLAYSCHOOL is not so easy, I have mixed feeling, thinking this and that*

yesterday I went to the playschool to submit some documents needed, and the head of PERMATA here in Membakut explain one of the program prepared by the school is that for each month, every parents must participate 4 hours per month to the school program such as

      to attend meeting,
      family day,
      one-hour-parent-play-and-pretend-as-a-teacher, etc

And such program is good so that every parent will stay connected with the school and each parent could see the progress of their kids in the school on weekly & monthly basis.

after meeting with the head of PERMATA, I have been informed by them that I need to prepare lil' Iman's things-to-bring to the playchool everyday.

so here is the list :-

      - 3 pair of T-shirt & pants and MUST be folded 1 set each
      - drink tumbler
      - baby shower gel
      - tooth paste
      - tooth brush
      - minyak angin
      - bath towel
      - face towel / handkerchief
      - body lotion (talcum powder is not encouraged)
p/s: if the kids still baby-milk-bottled, and using diapers, so these items must be provided by the parents.

and everyday, parents must fill up a so called 'logbook' and send to the school every morning when sending the kids, and this logbook will be returned to the parents later in the evening when taking the kids home, and the teacher will write in what the kids activities of the day so the parents will know what the kids doing in the school, and parents need to give some comments about their kids development of that day.

last nite, I prepared lil' Iman's 'school bag' ... tada! ... a bag with his clothes and toiletries inside.

we just sending him to the school just now. hope everything will go very well. and will update his very 1st day in school soon.

p/s: yesterday and today kinda busy .... but I still make an effort to read my followers new entries, and hey, I read I won ciklapunyabelogbloglist segment March 2017, and the RM5 top-up from belogsjm ... will make an entry about this too! and many thanks for selecting me!!!! love you babes many many stars on the sky!

      thanks for reading.

       2/11/17 Old Entry

      hi there,

      late entry.

so it was Christmas. we were at mother-in-law's house for the Christmas open house. it's time for family gathering. we have fun chit chatting to other family members and yes eat eat and eat. the in-laws cook and we have satay and ketupat as well. feels like it's hari raya la pulak.

my two young men were having fun playing with their cousins, and look at these three bums, guess what are they doing? I called them and asked what are they doing, but lil' Iman the only one answered "nothing mommy, nothing mommy".

and when I came nearer, they were playing with small pebbles inside the flower vase. Oh these kids aaaa ....so I took the vase away. sorry dear, it's not a toy.

      playing with their big cousins

it's Christmas, so they have Christmas tree inside the house with beautiful lighting and deco. and these two kids of mine, can't take their eyes off from it, not the tree but the small deco that mother in law hung on the tree.

they keep taking and playing the small deco and didn't put it back after using. I told them to put it back or else poh-poh will get sad. and this lil' Amin talked back "no, poh-poh not sad, see poh-poh is cooking" .... grrrrrrrrr *mommy will jadi singa betina if you guys are like this*

      trying to get another deco
      one after another

I asked lil' armies to sit properly near the Christmas tree, so that I can take one nice photo of them, but as always, they never sit still ... so among many photos taken, this is the only nice one I get, whatever *sigh sigh sigh*.

since I was quite busy chasing lil' armies here and there, I didn't take many pictures. ngee. but we have a nice Christmas that day.

      cheers.

       2/9/17 Old Entry

      hi there,

I think all kids at lil' Iman's age like to climb either the chair, the table, the house window, the door grille. I always tell lil' Iman to be careful each time he climbs the door grille, and always he remembers my advice, but as someone said THE SKY IS NOT ALWAYS BLUE.

I was in the veranda to collect the dry clean clothes from the laundry drying rope, and just I was closing the grille, lil' Iman as usual climb the grille and I just barely pick up two pieces of our clothes, lil' Iman fell on the floor and he cried sooooooooo loud.

I quickly went inside, and saw blood was all over his mouth. the moment I reached him, he cried even louder so I hugged him tight and oh yes, my pink blouse smeared a bit with his blood.

since I couldn't make his pain away,  I just let him cry as long as he wants, and caress him to make him feel comfortable, and let the pain subside by itself. the blood seems stop flowing. I wipe his lips with handkerchief, but our lil' Iman is a scaredy-cat over blood, so he took the handkerchief to cover his lips and refused to take it off.

I persuaded him that the blood has stopped, so it's ok to take off the handkerchief. I need to see how bad was his lips. after long persuasion, I managed to see his lips, and in haste took a picture of his bruising lips.

hard to get a good picture, but this one quite clear, yeah.

lil' Amin was a bit shocked watching his brother crying with a blood in his lips. lil' Amin didn't move a bit from where he was standing. he just observed everything. he didn't asked me anything the time I hugged lil' Iman. I guessed he understands the situation, in norms lil' Amin always have this jealousy feeling whenever his brother is hugging me (the brother rivalry you see).

but after the 'house environment back to normal', lil' Amin asked me "why abang cry?", and keep saying "kesian abang cry...kesian abang cry", but his last sentences really was not a joke

"itulah abang tak mau listen. mommy said don't panjat kan"
what making our door grille very easy to be climbed
      is because of its small-ladder-square-shape.

oh lil' Amin, you are always ada sesuatu in your mind. later lil' Amin came nearer to lil' Iman and said "don't lagi panjat aaaa" .... hurmmmmmmm ....

and now who is abang and who is adik ni?

and I hope he learnt his lesson. I hope he will stop climbing the door grille. but the very next day he climbs the grille again.

      ndak juga 'jerah-jerah'

      happy parenting.

      cheers
